JB’s PDQ aka Charles, sets a new CMSA World Record at the 2024 Winter National Championships!

2023 Season

Nebraska – May 2023 Ladies’ Open Eliminator Champion at the Jeffers Equine National Championships is Kenda Lenseigne! It was a tough Showcase with 0.67 seconds between first and fifth, but a 12.9 by Kenda and Charles secured the National Title!

Starting the season off right with an Overall Cowgirl, Ladies 6 and Double Down win at the Southwest Regional Championship – a tough match with 250 entries and a strong group of 6’s. The big bay Charles, as usual, did not disappoint! Thanks to Brandreth Farms – John & Samantha for partnering me with this incredible athlete! Also thanks to Arizona Cowboy Mounted Shooting(ACMSA) for a great and well run shoot! Thank you Scott Lindquist for the incredible action shots!!

New Chapter – Kenda and Charles 2022
To say “it’s an honor”, is an understatement.
Thank you Brandreth Farms – John & Samantha for pairing me up with the great horse Charles.
This was an epic day and I’m proud to be a part of all that this horse represents. Together we took the top time the open ladies eliminator on both stages 1 and 2. The main match starts tomorrow at the @cowboymountedshooting Appalachian Mountain Championship, tune in to the live feed to see us in real time!

When opportunity and chance come together.
A simple meeting at the ammo table, then a broken leg, then a friendship, and here I am riding one of the best horses in the sport.
I know the depth of this horse and what he meant to so many.
Together we won the Overall Cowgirl title, L6 win and 3rd high overall after only a few rides together @cowboymountedshooting Appalachian Mountain Championship 2022.
I am so proud and can’t help but love this big guy.
